Issue System Documentation

The issue system is an important tool on GitHub and functions as a bug and feature tracking system. Initially, there were only 7 issue labels which are bug, duplicate, enhancement, help wanted, invalid, question and wontfix. We added dashboard, discussion, documents, request and work in progress. As we don’t know the project exactly, we added labels that we may need in future and will continue to manage our labels as the project continues.

These are the new labels:

Discussion: To inform others that a discussion is opened for a topic related to the project

Documents: Documents, files related to the project can be served in an issue with the help of this label

Request: A label to inform others that a member is making a request

Work in progress: To inform others that the issue is in the process of being solved
