How to join us on IRC

There's a variety of ways how to join the support channel on the EFNET IRC network.

Method 1 - Using the command line interface

Using the following mIRC commands:

Set your nickname:

/nick mynickname

Set your alt nickname (in case nickname is in use):

/anick mynickname_

Connect to EFnet and join the channel:

/server -m efnet -j #peace&protection

Or -after you have set your nicknames- you can use the following PnP command instead:

/fav + EFNet #peace&protection

Press F11

Method 2 - Using the graphical user interface

1. Go to mIRC Options (Alt + O) or press on the icon as seen below.

2. In Category Connect, click on Servers. Under EFnet select Random server. Click Select.

3. Make sure the nickname fields are filled out and press Connect.

4. After you are connected to EFnet, type /join #peace&protection and press Enter.

5. Now talking in #peace&protection
