Asset

An asset is anything that has value to the owner. An asset may be tangible or intangible, hardware, software, data, buildings, infrastructure, but also products, knowledge resources, customer relationships or reputation.

In our OPPRIM decision engine, assets are created and assigned a value either by the CSo of the company using OPPRIM or by the responsible person of the company's IT security.
