In the current Serverless docs we state that the following feature is planned:

Authentication realms (native/SAML/OIDC/Kerberos/JWT)

This statement is not accurate.
Serverless projects will be accessible by customers only via Elastic Cloud users, that support external authentication providers via the BYOIDP Elastic Cloud functionality.

Direct configuration and use of other Elasticsearch realms generally used for Elastic Cloud Hosted deployments (like those mentioned in the list) will not be available in Serverless.

A documentation preview will be available soon.

Request a new doc build by commenting
  • Rebuild this PR: run docs-build
  • Rebuild this PR and all Elastic docs: run docs-build rebuild

run docs-build is much faster than run docs-build rebuild. A rebuild should only be needed in rare situations.

If your PR continues to fail for an unknown reason, the doc build pipeline may be broken. Elastic employees can check the pipeline status here.
