This builds on this PR #156, #172, #173 and #174 to restructure the project. The goal is to do this in smaller chunks so the work is not finished in this PR. The PR merges to main so the PR is going to look messy until the dependent PR is merged.
Here is a clean diff in the meantime: dvonthenen:deepgram-python-sdk:restructure-project-part4...dvonthenen:deepgram-python-sdk:restructure-project-part5
Notable changes:
prerecorded/prerecorded_client.py
since it's already in the prerecord directory. Just make itprerecorded/client.py
. Do this for all the files.IMPORTANT NOTES: The examples and therefore the user experience using the library has NOT changed since the initial restructure that @SandraRodgers did in #156. Take a look here: https://github.com/dvonthenen/deepgram-python-sdk/blame/restructure-project-part5/examples/demo_live.py. The two exceptions are options: LiveOptions and deepgram: DeepgramClient = DeepgramClient(deepgram_api_key) and it was just explicitly showing how to use the classes. The older method would still work.
Verified that all existing demos work:
examples/demo_prerecorded.py
,examples/demo_live.py
, andexamples/demo_manage.py
