Retrieving Reference Genome Data

To download the genome database files, you can either use the Google Cloud SDK utilities or through our Globus endpoint link. If you are going to use the Google SDK, you must have a GCP billing account linked to your Google account. To download the Google Cloud SDK, follow the instructions here.

The link to our Google bucket is gs://aces_databases.

To download the full dataset, use the following command (assuming gsutil is in your $PATH):

gsutil cp -r gs://aces_databases/genomes_db ./

To download the example Kvon et al. dataset, use the following command:

gsutil cp -r gs://aces_databases/Kvon_et_al_Genomes_db ./
