Mapping A Policy
Once you have created a policy you can now map it to a data source. Go to the Sources page and select "Manage" for the data source you would like to map the policy to. If this is the first policy mapping for the source, there will be a button in the center of the page. If standards have already been mapped, you will need to click on the button.
Select the standard you wish to map. On the next screen, drag and drop fields from your data source into the rule.
Click on "Apply Rule".
Reconciliation Policies When mapping a reconciliation policy, you must give the Platform the primary key and as-of date fields in order for the Platform to determine which rows it will compare between the previous and current report runs.
Cross Table Policies In order for your policy to reference another data source, you will need to go to the "Add A Data Source" link on the left side. This will allow you to connect one or more data sources to the current data set. You will need to indicate a matching column pair or pairs in order for the Platform to determine which rows to compare across the data sources.
After clicking on "Create New Mapping", you will also see a link for Show Suggestions. The Platform will analyze your data and provide you with potential policies that may be relevant for the data set. Once you select any of these, the Platform will also pre-populate the policy template with fields from your data. You simply have to review and click "Apply Rule".
