I added a one column auto-scrolling billboard design. This gives me more area to display informaiton and graphics about each beer. Plus it has the added advantage that it is really easy to work in ads. The big area has me thinking that QR Codes are a possibility.

Billboard Aftrer talking with Jed and Emily we came up with a rediesign for the billbaord. Make it so the beers are list in a column on hte left that takes up one third of the screen. then have a rotating highlighter hightlight the beer list. When a beer is highlighted information about the beer and brewery are shown on the right 2/3 of the screen. This give more surface areas for each beer plus it makes advertising and messaging very simple. Beers could rotate every 10 seconds (on menu update).

Colors - It was pointed out that I am trying to use too many colors for beer types. I will use one color scheme for all menu items. This will speed up development. Just use the site theme and css for this for simplicity. Later I can build in its own color sheme mechanism.

Beer Choice List This list will get very big very fast. So in order to keep it managable add a "My Beers" or "beer in Inventory" section that can be updated during non busy times with beer that is on your cooler. That way they can be quickly selected from a short list when you swap a keg."

• Beer Fest Rater - A rating system to use at large events so drinker can vote for their favorite beers. I picture a poll with three flat screens aiming down at the crowd. The people can thumbs up or down a beer. The board could show the top 10 beers over the coarse of a day or an hour.
