Before sending a report, it's strongly recommended to contact the owner of a given community regarding the violation. Most hub rule violations happen either on accident, or without the community owner's awareness. As such, simply speaking with a community's owner tends to be enough on it's own to make a report unnecessary to begin with, which helps save everyone's time. Coincidentally, this can also make it obvious whether a community owner is operating in bad faith, which can expedite hub rule enforcement if necessary.

To report a hub rule violation, either DM a Project Manager or Wizard in the official Space Station 14 Discord server (preferred), or send an email to <[email protected]>. Be concise, and include as much evidence as feasibly possible. Assume that absolutely nothing is known about a given community (as this is almost always the case). Evidence is usually valued over commentary. Translations for non-English evidence are greatly appreciated, but not required.

Generally, responses and updates to reports are not guaranteed, beyond a confirmation that the report has been forwarded to be discussed internally. Please be patient, as while initial investigations regarding a report might be inconclusive, it's not unusual for the contents of a given report to end up being relevant for future investigations, even months later.
