Since opam 2.2 is incredibly fast compared to 2.1, allowing it should reduce build time on Unix machines. |

Why is it not updated on windows? |

Windows does not yet support opam 2.2. (on setup-ocaml side) |

Cold builds are slow. There are caches now, so it should be fast. |
|
The compiler setup time is from 2 minutes to 1 minute. |
