Evaluation: Semantic Quality of Shared Perspectives

A key problem with the use of reviews as our data source, is that users are completely free to write what they want...and sometimes it is not of the highest informative quality. For instance, users may rate the shipping, or the quality of the package, instead of the item itself. In other cases they do refer to the item, but the review it's not detailed or about any particular features: "I love this movie, it's so awesome. I like anything with Brad Pitt." We know the cast of the movie, that's not a Perceptual Feature. The most frequent one seems to be about the format, if it's DVD, Blu-ray, streaming, etc. We can agree that Blu-ray looks so much better than the old VHS, but maybe it's not enough to say that Terminator is similar to the Beauty and the Beast.
