This extension relies on .Net which may fail to install

This extension uses the .Net runtime which is installed by the .Net Installer Extension in VSCode.
The .Net installer in VSCode uses a powershell script which may fail to install for a number of reasons. For instance, powershell may be configured to disallow scripts, or may not allow all language models.

If the log indicates .Net failed to install, you may need to install in manually which will require admin rights. To install manually, please follow the directions here: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/8.0
