I don't understand what "come in for final approach" means. Maybe because English is not my native language.
I searched on Google, and found https://www.yourdictionary.com/final-approach and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_approach. It was a waste of time: your next sentence "get very close to the meeting location an hour before the meeting" already gives enough information.
I suggest deleting the quoted idiom.
Or consider rephrasing it, if it really adds meaning that I missed.
