This project converts company names to company labels. Have a look at the following medium article:

This project can be pip installed using the command:
pip install companyClassifier
To install from inside a jupyter notebook cell:
import sys
!{sys.executable} -m pip install companyClassifier
Alternatively the project can be cloned from the Github repository following the instructions provided below:
- git clone https://github.com/lemay-ai/companyClassifier.git
- cd companyClassifier/
- pip install -r requirements.text
- python setup.py install
- cd test
- python test_text.py
- python test_pandas.py
Make sure the following dependencies are imported:
from keras.models import load_model
from os import path
import sys
After installation import the project as a module with the following code:
import companyClassifier as s
In order to test the model predictions call the SmallCompanyType class with:
b=s.companyClassifier()
You can use the test case below or modify the text strings.
