This PR adds a sample face area calculation method that computes the face areas for each face in the mesh by accumulating side surface area vector magnitudes of internal sides corresponding to internal or master faces in the MPI comm stencil, making sure not to double count sides.
Build and results verified with
Clang 18.1.8,GNU 14.2.1, andIntelLLVM 2025.0.4.
