+Thank you all for your patience as our conference organizing committee has been discussing the developing emergency situation for Tampa. Given Hurricane Milton’s trajectory and potential for catastrophic impacts to the Tampa area,  the Visualization Executive Committee (VEC), in consultation with the VGTC and IEEE, sadly feel that it is best to convert the conference to fully virtual. We believe that the safety of those traveling to the conference, those working at the hotel, and those in the area who run the greatest risk of being adversely affected by the hurricane is at the crux of this decision. As such, **IEEE VIS 2024 will now be fully virtual**.
