Hawaii offers an easy to use desktop environment made to fully take advantage of QtQuick and Wayland, as a matter of fact it was the first fully fledged desktop environment for Wayland.
The shell is entirely done with QtQuick and it is deeply integrated with the compositor based on the Green Island library, expressly made for Hawaii.
The ultimate goal is also to made atomic upgrades and bundles be available to users, for a better user experience and so Hawaii is also a GNU/Linux distribution.
