chore: fix broken links and bring changes from #1393

What?

This PR fixes a few broken links by adding the content from PR #1393 that didn't get ported to the next folder. It brings in any files and updates from that PR to the next and v0.48.x. folders.

It also removes a few links from test services that we are not hosting anymore.
