Dungeon Denizens

A mod that adds a classical set of mobs to your Minecraft world. The main influence of most of these creatures is from playing Ultima IV & V back in the day.

Mobs

Headless

Headless are humanoid creatures without a head nor neck. Despite this seemingly handicap, Headless have an acute sense of perception, being able to track players further than Zombies and also inform their brethren and other mobs (Orcs & Gazers) of your presence when they see you. Given their larger groups and communication skills, Headless can easily overwhelm you.

Orc

Orcs are brutal humanoid creatures who are easily aggrevated and lash out with destructive force. Orcs are known for carrying more primative weapons but will wield a sword if the opportunity arises. They also have a foundness for iron and most likely will be carrying some wherever they wander.

Ghoul

Ghouls are the smarter cousins of Zombies. Though they are undead, they crave to feast on the living. Ghouls will attack any farm animals. They can pick up meat, including rotten flesh, and heal themselves. Ghouls are hurt by sunlight, but it does not burn them as long as Zombies. Seeking shelter from Ghouls can be tricky as they can open doors.

Gazer

Gazers are strange magic-wielding creatures. They can hover above ground up to 15 blocks. They attempt to keep away from their opponents, casting weakness on them and them summoning minions to finish their foes off. If you get too close to a Gazer, they have a powerful bite.

Shadow

Shadows are the incorporeal remenants of long dead warriors. They barely exist in this world, rendering most weapons useless against them. Only gold and weapons from their own realm can do any real damage against these creatures. As they are shadows or the living, they fear sunlight and will burn. Caution should be taken as they can wield magic.
