The following are some steps for getting C0 running as a 122 student at Carnegie Mellon. These guides assume you have been able to log into a cluster computer, run C0, and edit a text file using either Vim or Emacs.

Connecting through SSH

  1. Getting basic (text) SSH to work
  2. Getting X11 forwarding (images, mouse) to work

Setting up your environment

  1. Setting up your PATH so that cc0 and coin can always be run.
  2. Setting up your editor with C0 syntax highlighting.

Installing C0 locally (Optional)

  1. Downloading and installing C0
  2. Setting up your local environment
