@splincode I'm not able to reproduce your issue, please provide a minimal runnable repro using docusaurus.new.

As you can see in #10909, the propagation of that className to sidebar items works, as our deploy preview proves.

This issue was opened as "documentation" but it looks like a bug report in disguise that I can't reproduce, so I'm going to close until you provide an actual repro.
