This is package to show how the SAX-based gap filler by Müller et al.. The package contains only one main function: SAXGAP. We decided to provide this algorithm as a small prototypical R package, with a help and thoroughly commented code to make it usable and understandable. For pointers to the usage, install the package from source and type ?SAXGAP to read documentation on the method.
