Potential Future Developments

Storing information

• Option available to upload to their Cloud - then able to download previous records onto new phone if the lose/change their old handset - potential issues around consent and data protection/privacy laws?
• Blockchain? Bonus - added security using private key - also can't be edited
• Apple ResearchKit - allows you to store information without revealing someone's identity

Geographical Considerations

• Include map of nearby clinics that user can visit - especially crucial for when they've been sent an alert?
• Important to remember refugees in host communities as well as in camps (N.B. app most relevant for refugees in Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey region)
• Different countries have a different immunization schedule and requirements - therefore need vaccine checklist to update according to location (N.B. GPS location)

Alerts

• automatic alerts sent according to immunization schedule of relevant country (also appears in calendar of immunization schedule)
• alerts of nearby outbreaks sent by NGOs to inform them that their baby is covered by its injections or if they should get immunized asap. Segmentation on alerts depending on data received (ie. age, what injections they've had, GPS location) which will determine risk
• NGO will then be able to track, via web portal, who has received alerts how many, and potentially the associated increase in clinic visits and immunizations as a result of the alert
