Where to go to with the project?

Now

We almost have setup this project and were able to use the best practices we know or learned ourselfs. The point of finishing a first possible release is near. There is a registration form, a login form and everything is covered with tests, ...

Future

Today (24th of March), we were wondering which way the project could go next? Just some random thoughts:

• Nowhere, keep it like this and do upgrades
• Keep developing
• Where to?
• Create a CMS?
• With a LOT of features?
• With just a few features but extendible?

Nowhere

There isn't much to say about this.

Create a CMS

• Why create a CMS?
• There are a LOT of other open source CMS-things available. What makes this CMS better/more special/... for someone?

General

• Keep developing by best practice
• Keep using coding- and naming conventions
• Be very consistent
• Make is easy to create templates
  • With multiple layouts for same page type
    (For example: A blog and latest news might be the same content type, but the layout of the pages might be different)
• Work with widgets and content blocks
