As per AWS documentation, DatabaseConnection should use sample count statistic for DatabaseConnection metric. AWS Documentation: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/UserGuide/rds-metrics.html

As per AWS documentation, for RDS DatabaseConnection metric, SampleCount statistic should be used.
