Installation

Prerequisites

• node-js (Tested on ver. 12.16.3)
• npm (Tested on ver. 6.14.8)
• pip (Tested on ver. 20.1.1)
• python (Test on ver. 3.7.4)
• git (Optional)

These are linked here for your convenience and if you are on Linux you can install them using your favourite package manager.

Setup

Git clone the repository:

1. git clone the repository

git clone https://github.com/bigratenthusiast/big-brother

2. Or just download it as a zip, and unzip it

Next, open up a terminal and cd into the directory ig...

cd big-brother

NPM Packages

Install the node dependencies with npm i:

npm i

pip

Install speechrecognition

pip install SpeechRecognition

You might have to use pip3

Config

Head into config.json and set python-3 to true if you are using python 3. Set the bot prefix and anythign else you wanan set ig

Censorship

Open up 1984.json and add stuff to the list of things to censor in voice or in text

Usage

Run npm run start and invite the bot to your server
