Is this included in https://jira.dev.bbc.co.uk/browse/WSTEAMA-1545? Or are we going to need a separate ticket to upgrade lint to the latest major version? |
I think it'll need a separate piece of work. Not sure how straightforward it is, but it looks like a decent amount of breaking changes in the latest version as they've moved to a different eslint config pattern. https://eslint.org/docs/latest/use/migrate-to-9.0.0#flat-config Although there appears to be a flag that still may allow us to use our existing config. |
Agreed - it's a big piece of work, so I have added https://jira.dev.bbc.co.uk/browse/NEWSWORLDSERVICE-2185 to the dependencies epic |
