Description

Provides real-time data ingestion from (AVEVA) OSI PI Data Archive to a modern data architecture on AWS with integrations to OSI PI Asset Framework centrally managed over AWS IoT PubSub messaging.

Motivation and context

The OSI Pi Integration library is an AWS IoT managed distributed application that allows the user to remotely select OSI Pi data points for ingestion to AWS via the centralized AWS IoT Core. This pattern enables centrally managed load balancing of OSI Pi data point ingestion using low cost, horizontally scalable commoditized edge hardware.

Acceptance criteria

Make sure your component home contains:

  • Requirements - AWS and non-AWS resources required on device and in customer's AWS account.
  • Instructions for installation of component, preferably "one-click or one-line".
  • Instructions around what settings can be configured along with examples of workable defaults.
  • Threat Modeling - List any potential security vulnerabilities for this component and how you've attempted to mitigate risks.
  • Troubleshooting guide to help resolve customer issues.
  • Instructions about how customers can report issues related to component and get them addressed.

Please adjust your commit message using rebase to follow conventional commit standard. So: feat(component): add OSI Pi data connector
