This is a project about a Computer Networks Website that is made by my team from Thakur College of Engineering Computer Department

This project is made in reference Computer Networks in Computer science engineering . This project is all about helping students understand about Computer Networks and learn from all the resources available in this project .

Project includes :

  • Information about various topics related to Computer Networks.
  • All the PDF documents in regards to Practicals , Important Topics in CN .
  • Site also includes other references to learn about Computer Networks

Getting Started

The above django project does not include Settings.py file and Django admin url due to security reasons( thus you have to create it on your own )

Prerequisites

Prerequisites

The following steps will guide you through setting up the project locally and running it on your localhost.

1. Clone the Project

First, clone the project repository to your local machine:

git clone https://link-to-project

2. Go to the Project Directory

Navigate to the project directory:

cd my-project

3. Install Dependencies

Install the required dependencies for the React project using npm. This will download all necessary packages defined in package.json.

npm install

4. Start the Development Server

To run the project locally, start the development server using the following command:

npm run dev

This will start the React development server, and you can access the application at http://localhost:3000 (or another port, depending on your configuration).


By following these steps, you should be able to set up and run your React project locally on your machine.

Usage

  1. Access Study Materials:

    • Once logged in, users can navigate to the Materials section.
    • You can view, download, and search for PowerPoint presentations (PPTs), practical lab files, and reference books.
    • All files are categorized for ease of access.
  2. CRUD Operations (For Authorized Users):

    • If you are an authorized user (e.g., admin or contributor), you can upload new study materials, edit existing ones, or delete outdated resources.
    • Access the Admin Panel for additional controls over content and user permissions.
  3. Mobile Friendly:

    • The website is fully responsive and can be accessed on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
