Tournaments can be started on any match type. Such as arena,skirmish,col
If you want the tournament to start after a fixed amount of time. Do an auto of the tournament, it will announce instructions every minute until it starts.
/tourney auto rated <team size> <rated or unrated> <# of teams> <match type> [amount of time before start (in minutes)]
Example: /tourney auto rated 1 2+ arena
/tourney open rated <team size> <rated or unrated> <# of teams> <match type>
Example: /tourney open rated 1 2+ arena
/tourney start
/tourney cancel
This is not a tournament option, but it's useful sometimes if something unexpected occurs /arena winner
