By combining a symmetric-key encryption (SKE) scheme with a public-key (RSA) scheme, we can efficiently encrypt large messages and still be able to communicate them over a public channel.
With the use of MACs, the system can be CCA2 secure as any decryption oracle will return -1
if the input ciphertext is invalid with respect to the attached MAC.
make all
Run make tests
Run ./test.sh
and view the results in the output
file.
Generate an RSA keypair: ./kem-enc -b 2048 -g /path/to/keyfile
Encrypt a file and write ciphertext to encfile
: ./kem-enc -e -i myfile -o encfile -k /path/to/keyfile.pub
Decrypt a ciphertext file: ./kem-enc -d -i encfile -o decfile -k /path/to/keyfile
