Managing folders

You can have subfolder containing links, they are useful to organize the links. To manage folders, you have to click with the mouse right button on the desired parent folder. Ximdex will open a contextual menu.

In the contextual menu, you have options like create a folder, change the folder name, delete the folder, copy the folder or move the node.

Creating a folder

In the contextual menu, click on "Add new link subfolder". Ximdex will open a new tab with a form with a field. You have to fill it with the desired folder name. Then, click on the button "CREATE".

Changing the folder name

In the contextual menu, click on "Change name". Ximdex will open a new tab with a form very similar to the previous image. Once you have modified the folder name, clik on button "MODIFY".

Deleting a folder

In the contextual menu, click on "Delete folder". Ximdex will report the children nodes that will be delete too and ask you if you want to continue deleting.

If you click on the button "DELETE", Ximdex will ask again you if you want to continue. If you click on the button "Accept", Ximdex will delete the folder.

Copying a folder

In the contextual menu, click on "Copy". Ximdex will show in a new tab with the possible destinations of the copy. You have to select one of them. You can also enable a checkbox to execute the copy for all files and subfolders. Once you have selected a folder, you have to click on button "COPY". Ximdex will report a success message if the operation finishes successfully.

Moving a node

In the contextual menu, click on "Move node". Ximdex will open a new tab with the possible destinations of the moved folder. You have to select one of them. Once you have selected a folder, you have to click on button "MOVE NODE". Ximdex will report a succes message if the operation finishes succesfully.
