Releases: VioletteChiara/AnimalTA
AnimalTA v3.2.2
-- Bug corrections:
- Videos not found were sometimes not correctly detected, leading to bugs, it is now fixed
- The backgrounds were duplicated when using the "apply to all" tracking parameters, this has been fixed
- More information will now be given by the debugging window
-- Novelties:
- The heatmap creation has been improved
- An Auto update mode is now available , it is also possible to do semi-automatic update by asking AnimalTA to download and install the update
- It is now possible to run a .ata file with AniamlTA instead of opening the program first each time.
- More information will now be given by the debugging window
AnimalTA release v3.1.2
Minor update:
General
- Dark theme available
Video preparation
- Possibility to delete more than one video at a time in the main table
- Possibility to apply the same background for multiple videos
View and correct tracking
- Possibility to lock the view on the selected target
- Possibility to open the coordinate table in another window (Button: ⧉).
Analysis
- Sequences related to objects can now be identified as 1st, 2nd, 3rd... entry/exit, instead of only first entry and last exit.
- In the results data the begin and end of the sequences is now saved
Video exportation
- Possibility to export more than one video at a time
v3.1.1
Major update for version 3.1.1.
With this new update, AnimalTA can now track videos in which the targets enter and leave the arenas.
A lot of other improvements have been made to the program, which are described in the pdf below.
fix v2.3.3
A bug was present in the last release, making the program unable to track properly when the sonor alert was activated.
This is a fix for this problem.
v2.3.3
Minor update:
Fixed bugs
- Changing the number of arenas using the "apply to all" after changing the parameters to all created problems and a crash of the program. --> fixed
- With the "redo tracking" option, if an individual was not visible in the last frame before the selected image it was not tracked. --> fixed
- Now "R" and "r" have the same effect to rotate arenas.
- In the background modification part: now the selected color by right click is the color displayed and not the original background color.
New features and improvements
- New updates will be notified if the computer is connected to the internet.
- Addition of a new "settings" panel:
-> We can add an alarm sound/pop-up notification when the tracking session is finished.
-> Possibility to change the size of the background/arena displays
-> Possibility to change the default size of the background tool - Possible to draw on top of the background with a square tool
- Now save both absolute and relative exploration values (for all methods).
Other
- Decrease a bit the minimum value to define the exploration area.
- Now "Interpolate all" will use non-round values (i.e. will give decimal coordinates)
- The program now does not round the original frame number of the videos.
- Added some loading bars to limit risks of confusing bugs with slow loading
Fix v2.3.1
A mistake made the "redo tracking" option unable in the previous update. This update is here to fix that.
AnimalTA v2.3.1
This update is a minor update that will bring little changes to the program.
It induces the introduction of some new features and some bug fixes.
I) New features
- AnimalTA now proposes to make manual trackings: fill the table with NA values and let the user make the tracking manually.
- Now when a shape (ellipse, rectangle, polygon) or a circle is defined in the analyses, the program calculates various variables for the trajectories inside those shapes (i.e: speed inside the shape, prop time stopped inside, etc)
- Concatenation of concatenated videos is now possible.
- Export a video will now adapt the frame rate of the exported video to the reading speed defined by the user in the "export video" section.
II) Bugs correction:
- If the videos were concatenated but not cropped, the tracking was not functional. --> fixed
- When using the "redo the track" option, the displayed frame after validating was not the correct one if the video frame rate was not the original one. --> fixed
- The meander value was underestimated by previous calculations. --> fixed
- The tracking process was sometimes especially slow (hours for a few minutes video). --> fixed
- It was sometime impossible to copy or rotate some arenas. --> fixed
Release v2.2.3
This release is linked with the publication of the article.
A few improvements are also provided:
- For heavy tracking, a loading bar will appear when the coordinates are loaded
- In the "Check and Correct" panel, if less than two frames are selected, the interpolation button allows interpolating all data. A warning message will appear to avoid mistakes.
AnimalTA release v2.2.1
Similar to release v2.2.0 but linked to Zenodo's doi and with the article citation as "accepted".
AnimalTA release v2.2
New release with little improvements:
- Possibility to import videos from another project by selecting another project after "add videos".
- Possibility to correct for perspective deformation in the analyses panel.
- Possibility to add points to replace NA values while correcting the tracking.
- Return a meander value while analyzing the trajectories.
