Unifier v2.0.0, the next major release of Unifier, is here! In this release, we overhauled the inner workings of Unifier, while focusing on the intuitiveness of the Unifier user experience.

  • Unifier now uses Nextcord instead of Novus as its Discord API library.
  • Help, rooms, and emojis commands have all been revamped, with a new search system. No more scrolling, it's time for searching.
  • You can now see who reacted to your message using Reactions v2.
  • Rules have been limited to up to 25 rules per room for a future rules management system.
  • Users can now appeal their bans using u!appeal.
    • Admins still have the right to block users from appealing by running u!appealban @user. Moderators cannot run this command for now, but we may change this in the future.
  • Usernames will now be accompanied by an emoji tag for instance owner, admins, and moderators, as well as verified users.
    • Usernames are now deduped to prevent impersonation using the new emoji tag system.
  • A new EXP system has been added. You can check who has the most EXP using u!leaderboard.
  • Many other commands have been updated to use Discord message UI components for a more intuitive user experience.
  • Bans from content moderation plugins can now be lifted using u!globalunban.
