MultiLayerAspNetCore

MultiLayerAspNetCore is a sample ASP.NET Core application designed with a multi-layered architecture. This project aims to demonstrate best practices for structuring ASP.NET Core applications with clear separation of concerns, modularity, and maintainability.

Project Structure

The project is organized into several layers:

Main Project (MultiLayerAspNetCore)

Contains controllers and endpoints for handling HTTP requests and responses.

Core Project (MultiLayerAspNetCore.Core)

Implements core functionality such as services, interfaces, view models, and common utilities.

Domain Project (MultiLayerAspNetCore.Domain)

Houses domain models and repository interfaces defining data access contracts.

Data Project (MultiLayerAspNetCore.Data)

Handles data access and persistence using Entity Framework Core (or other ORM tools).

IOC Project (MultiLayerAspNetCore.IoC)

Handles dependency injection (DI) configuration and service registration.

Getting Started

To run the MultiLayerAspNetCore project locally, follow these steps: Clone the repository to your local machine. Open the solution in Visual Studio or your preferred IDE. Build the solution to restore NuGet packages and compile the project. Run the database Script that provided Update the connection string in appsettings.json (set the server name and database name ) within the main project to point to your database. Run the application.
