Stereoscopic 3D rendering is not much more, than rendering two frames at ones, from two different cameras.
I've a prototype running with the anaglyph technology, but until I get my hands on an Oculus, I won't really make the effort to expose this via an API.
But stay tuned and wait to see volume renderings in full 3D, giving your scans a lot more depths!
