2. Project Description
The objective of the Cultural Heritage Project is to assist the sustainable management of the country's cultural heritage in order to develop cultural tourism and, in time, gain additional revenues, through: (i) enhancement of the legal framework, development of policies, and strengthening of cultural institutions capacity to enable efficient management of the country's cultural assets; (ii) development and marketing of cultural products, including promotion and communication programs; and (iii) improving infrastructure and management of archaeological and historic sites to increase their appeal and tourism potential. Software development issues are expected to be completed by the end of May 2017. Considering detailed and standardized documenting, packaging and other issues, the project is expected to be delivered in the middle of June 2017
