AnonList is a Chrome extension designed to enhance your YouTube experience by providing anonymous playlist management features. With AnonList, you can create, customize, and manage playlists without the need to sign in to a YouTube or Google account.
To install AnonList in Chrome:
- Download the latest release from the Releases page.
- Unzip the downloaded file.
- Open Chrome and go to
chrome://extensions
. - Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner.
- Click on "Load unpacked" and select the unzipped folder containing the extension files.
- Anonymous Playlists: Create playlists that are not attached to any specific YouTube or Google account.
- Playlist Management: Rename playlists, add or remove videos/songs, shuffle playlists, and delete playlists.
- Playlist Link Sharing: Easily copy a link to share your playlists with others.
- Backup/Import Functionality: Backup and restore your playlists for easy management and migration.
- Click on the AnonList extension icon in your browser toolbar.
- Click the (+) 'Plus' sign from the popup menu.
- Give your playlist a name and click "Create."
- Click on the AnonList extension icon in your browser toolbar.
- Select the playlist you want to share.
- Click on the "Copy Link" button to copy the playlist link to your clipboard.
- Backup: Click on the AnonList extension icon and hoverover "Backup." Choose "Export." and save the backup file to your computer.
- Import: To import a backup, click on the AnonList extension icon and hoverover "Backup." Choose "Import." and select the backup file from your computer to restore your playlists.
AnonList does not collect any personal information. All playlist data is stored locally on your device and is not shared with any third parties.
