@fepitre any ideas how best to handle this? I bet at least installed tests will complain about multiple host-* dists. But also, the current tests/builder-ci.yml has use-qubes-repo: 4.2, which may cause issues when preparing cache for r4.3 builds, right?

I can propose you to set two different template jobs that would modify default builder option of tests/builder-ci.yml or having two different files and we make at least common parts as an include.
