A Journey Through a Garden of Dreams

Description

Plant Clicker is an engaging clicker game where players cultivate a virtual garden, using strategic upgrades to enhance plant growth and explore the botanical world. The game blends simple click mechanics with complex strategy elements, allowing players to experience the joys of gardening and plant evolution.

  • Core Mechanics: Click to earn resources, which you can spend on various upgrades that automate tasks or increase your earnings.
  • Narrative: Follow the life cycle of a mysterious plant species, discovering new plant varieties and learning about their unique habitats and needs.

Game Guide

Getting Started:
You can access the game here: Plant Clicker
Click on the main plant image to collect leaves, the primary currency. Use these leaves to purchase your first upgrades.

Upgrades:

  • Passive Upgrades: Increase resource generation without clicking.
  • Active Upgrades: Enhance your clicking power and unlock new abilities.

Strategies:

  • Invest in passive income early to maximize your idle benefits.
  • Balance your upgrades to achieve optimal growth rates.

Power-Ups:

  • Sun Boost: Temporarily increases the photosynthesis rate, speeding up production.
  • Rain Dance: A rare boost that multiplies water supply, drastically increasing growth for a short period.

Development

Timeline:

  • April 1, 2024: Conceptualization and initial sketches.
  • April 3, 2024: First playable prototype.
  • April 9, 2024: Introduction of advanced features and testing.
  • April 15, 2024: Nearly finished website, created ReadMe.
