  • The overlays can now be accessed from any device on the same network. Simply replace localhost with your device IP.
  • When opening a second instance of the app it’ll provide you a safe error and force you to close that instance. Your already open instance of the app will be untouched.

Added 1v1 version of the app.

How it works:
In the settings, set the team size to 1.
Now the "Setup" in the app will be slightly different. There are no players you need to add anymore.
You can now add up to 4 info sections. Things like this can include "nationality", "rank", "favourite car", etc...

Next, if you head to upcoming match in the app you'll see that there are 4 new info titles you can fill in.
These titles are linked to the 4 info sections on "Setup". The title should be something like "Rank" whilst the info value on Setup could be something like "Grand Champion".

Only the items where the title is filled in will show up.
Once set up, have a look at the upcoming scene, the look is a little different to include these (up to) 4 info sections.

This is just a first version, improvements / adjustments yet to come based on feedback of you

Added map rotations.

How this works:
You can set up your set up your map rotations for bo3, bo5 & bo7 matches in the settings. Not all maps are included, cinematics for other maps welcome.

Depending on the "ingame best of" and the current score on the ingame tab we'll get the current map and next map.
The next map will be shown on the casters scene (if enabled on the casters scene as well) and on the upcoming scene.
The current map will be played on the stats screen, after a match is finished.

The thought process is like RLCS:
After the game you show the map of the game that just finished, in this case it's the stats screen.
You then head over to replays to then switch the background map to the new map, in this case the casters screen.

If you're using this with SOS you don't have to do anything except setting up the maps and enabling the background map rotation on casters. As the score will automatically update after a game, the map on both stats & casters screen will thereby update as well.

  • You can now choose wether you want the blue color or the orange color to be the accent color (can be changed in the settings)
  • Fixed long sponsor logo's that overlapped on the upcoming match screen
  • Added an option to reset the settings. This way if you need to start from scratch you can just start from scratch.
  • Background loop has been adjusted, it's now based on a video link. With this, you also have an option if you'd like to use the fade on top of it or not.

  • Reworked how assets get loaded in.

More info on the rework:
Assets are now loaded in from an external source (cdn.rocketbenelux.com) instead of locally as it seems like OBS Browsersource struggles with loading in local files. This change fixed the "Refresh & reload cache" option in OBS. Sources should now instantly refresh after pressing.

The downside of this change (which was a downside before anyway) is that if you refresh the source it needs to always "download" the background video as OBS Browsersource does not have caching possibilities it seems. The downloading of the background is as far as my testing goes arround 20 seconds. It's been consistent between 20-30 seconds. All the rest of the source should reload almost instantly.

I had did not have the change to test this ingame but I assume this could also fix the icons on the ingame events (top right) to also load in more consistent now.
