2.8.10
2.8.9
- Videos of the map rotation will now load in sooner. How it works has been changed:
If map rotation is enabled on the ingame tab you'll now see a "Next Match nr" field under "Best of" field. This number decides what the next match nr will be (So if you're in map 1 then next match nr is 2). You are free to update it manually but with the use of Bakkesmod plugin it'll automatically update between minute 3 and 4. So you technically have to do nothing and the background of casters & stats screen should update around that time. This should be enough time to load those videos in so they are ready for whenever the map is over. - If map rotation is enabled and you have just played the last map of the series then the casters screen will show the last map again instead of the default background.
- RLCS The Grid Playoffs bracket has been added as a type of bracket. You can copy the link of the double elim bracket and change
bracket/de
tobracket/grid
to access it. There's nothing special to it. - LAN Casters overlays added. This is for broadcasts in person whereby there's no background etc.. Only analyst & caster names.
These overlays can be found on/lan/casters1
,/lan/casters2
. These work on the same "casters" spots in the app. - If you close the app, or have to restart for an update then the overlays weren't connected to the app anymore whereby you had to reload every source. This has been improved, if it's disconnected you'll see a red dot at the top right of the overlay (quite small). If you re-open the app the red dot should dissapear. This means the overlays are instantly reconnected to the app and you can just continue where you left off 🎉

2.8.7
2.8.6
- Fixed text wrapping to a new line on the standings page
- The poll is now also available on a different URL
/poll
. In case you'd like to use the poll on different places - Player cams will now seamlessly transition from ingame with boost to post game player cams.
- Added a new team page, this would mainly be used if you use player cams. This way you can see the players with their own team logo, team name & current series score.
- Adjusted the upcoming series on the bottom of the casters page. If the ingame score is 0-0 it'll stay the same and say "Upcoming series" with "VS" between the teams. If there is a score the text will change to "Current series" & the VS will change to the current scoreline.
2.8.5
- There'll now be a countdown on the ingame tab when the podium screen starts to show when the leaderboard will show. You can use that timer (only visible for broadcaster) to know when to switch to stats screen.
- If people leave last second, player cams won't just disseaper. Players are cached and saved until next game
- The order of the players ingame was not completely correct. Has now been adjusted and should be alphabetically.
2.8.4
- Player Cams will keep showing if enabled if the game has ended. Only the boost meter will be collapsed as that's irrelevant.
If a team has no player cams the names of the team will also be hidden, but if 1 player has a cam it'll show all players. - The boost meters are slightly moved, this is so that if you enable player cams it'll have a smoother transition. Boost meters of teams that don't have player cams won't move anymore.
- An option in the setting has been added to disable OBS transition animations.
- You are now able to open bracket & standings overlays without logo's / text on the top left & top right. You can do this by appending
?break
to the url. Reason being as this would be useful on the break, normally the logo's or text on the top right would be under the break overlay. By hiding those elements on the break screen it'll look smoother. - You can now add multiple columns to the standings overlays. Example of this would be a column for group stage w/l ratio & a column for win diff, as there are often tiebreakers depending on other rules. Currently you have up to 3 columns, but 3 feels a lot. I would suggest ticking with 2.
You can enable a second column by filling in a title on the standings tab on the app, then it'll show up in the overlays. Leaving the title empty will hide the whole column. - With the change mentioned above I also made a change to the "QUALIFIED" checkbox on standings. If you enable the checkbox it'll highlight that selected team but won't put the text "QUALIFIED" there anymore. This could be used in a way if you are a RLCS The Grid broadcaster to highlight your own team in the standings. It'll still show the w/l ratio and other columns but only change the background so people are aware where you are on the standings. You can however get the old functionality back by typing "QUALIFIED" (or whatever you'd like) in the app above the checkboxes on the standings tab.
