To speed things up after seeing #31: Are these changes backwards compatible? I.e. will this work for users on 2024.12.*? Specifically, what minimum version of HA Core is needed to work with these changes? |

I don't know oldest working version but it was mentioned in 2023.1 at least so yes it is backward compatible. |
It was done more than 2 years ago. |
