Change 3:

Create's a Renamed Set of Captains Gear for Admiral

Change 4:

Change 5:
Creates a NT Variant of CMO
If given a few NT Themed gear instead of generic CMO stuff

Why It's Good For The Game

Change 1:
Wall-y will stop causing the defense turrets of the MALP to start shooting. Which will remove a hyper niche issue where the disabler shots start to shoot a RNG machine that can explode.

Adds a Cargo Sloth instead.

Change 2:
Corrects some confusion, the Flotilla Commander was in the lore an equivalent to Central Command. Since Central Command DOES NOT EXIST in the frontier, the Flotilla Commander was to act as the regional Central Command Rep; one whom no longer had direct contact with Central Command.
-- See change 3 why they were titled as such.

Also corrects a claim that "Central Command stuff should be admin only." Spoilers there are Central Command stuff located elsewhere on other ships, along with some currently available NT ships outranking normal NT Captains due to their role and function.

Change 3:
Since "Floatilla Commander" seemed to be miss-understood as "Central Command"(er)... Possible in lieu with the other gear items... the title has been renamed to Flotilla Admiral.

The reason why they are not a Captain is because the title of Captain is an Terra Navy Title given to the Officer in Command (OIC) of a Ship. The Cheyenne is not a single ship but a collection of three different ships, even if they are sub shuttles.

The reason for Flotilla Commander is because it was another alternative Navy title given to those who command a Flotilla. Which is defined as a formation of small warships. The purpose was that the Flotilla Commander would be responsible of the mission operations of the teams, and allow them to coordinate as a headquarters, hence the purpose of the Cheyenne. But the Cheyenne would not be the Flagship of NT operations in the area, just the OIC in charge of the Flotilla.

Admiral on the other hand would have implied that the Cheyenne was the flag ship of NT operations in the Frontier. I also personally felt the title of Admiral was too high of a rank, and that this would result in players assuming that the Admiral was in fact Central Command. It seems I was wrong in my assumption.

Yet, since there was some backlash to the use of a Commander title, and people seeming to misunderstand its historical meaning. The Cheyenne now has an Admiral...

Change 4+5
Since I made the NT Admiral, I might as well make the NT CMO. During which I was advised that QM isn't a head of staff. So I created a variant of both the NT QM with silver ID... and a Variant of the QM Datum that is Head of Staff Access level.

This Variant WILL NOT touch other ships and if a QM in another ship should be a head of staff, then the job id needs to be changed to the qm/officer variant.

Changelog

🆑
add: Paperwork the sloth
del: Wall-y the pain in my side Minebot
fix: Swapped the Flotilla Commander for Flotilla Admiral
add: Admiral named gear and a new pentest modular faction_nanotrasen file
/:cl:

… taken from the Heron.

Also Converting Cheyenne from Floatilla Commander to Floatilla Admiral... Since some people seem to think Commander means CentralCommand.
