Currently OpenVox doesn't have any place to upload analytics to and we don't want to send any data to Perforce. This reduces the size of the installed package while increasing user privacy.

I think it makes total sense to remove it for now. In general I like the idea of dropsonde and the data would be helpful for vox pupuli. If we have the resources in the future to run the infra by our own, and dropsonde is opt-in (and if we assume people would actually opt-in) I would like to add it again. |

In addition, depends
puppetas a gem. It's really questionable to pull that in as well given we want to use openvox-agent in our builds.
