May I ask where the data is from?

It seems to be gathered from somewhere without some quality assurance. For instance, the casing divvers.

Accounting Research Journal;Account. Res. J.
ACCOUNTING REVIEW;Account. Rev.
ACCOUNTS OF CHEMICAL RESEARCH;Accounts Chem. Res.

These abbreviations are gathered from Journal Citation Reports, without modification.

As for the casing divvers, I also noticed the problem but didn't find a satisfactory solution to it. (I tried to capitalise all words, excluding acronyms and initialisms like 'IEEE'.)

I can close this PR if it doesn't meet your requirements.

When reading #79 and other feedback, there is a demand by users to

  • provide more insights on the sources of the list
  • high quality (or stating why that cannot be achieved)
  • clear copyright

Do you have a hint on the copyright statement of the generated list?

Maybe, we should "just" add a hint to README.md how others can generate that list?

Hi koppor, I feel sorry for not including a copyright statement, and I will add one immediately.

More insights can be found in my repository, which contains source code to generate the list.

By referring to README.md, I don't quite know which one you are speaking of.

Hi koppor, I have added a copyright statement in README.md.

As for the casing issue, I suppose it may be better to solve the problem first. I'll go on with it if you think the work is worth a try.
