cd JTDBot
Make sure you have Node.js installed. If not, download and install it from here.
- Rename the
.env.example
file to.env
. - Open the
.env
file and input your Bot Token and MongoDB URL (and the other options).
If you're using Windows, you can automatically configure your .env
file by running the setup.bat
file. This script will guide you through the process of setting up your environment.
- Run
setup.bat
in the root directory. - Follow the prompts to set up your
.env
file.
Linux users will need to manually configure the .env
file as described above.
- For Windows: Run
start.bat
. - For Linux: Run
start.sh
.
This will start the bot and you should see the bot coming online in your Discord server.
