It's much shorter than I expected. Has this been exercised on all variants? ubuntu, debian, rocky by 2.0, 2.1, 2.2 ? Do we know that some variants are unsupported?

I think it should work on all variants. Will test it out with different combinations and post here edit: tests are working for different variants; build details |

This initialization action configures Google Cloud Dataproc to enable lineage for Hive jobs.
Lineage for Hive is currently not supported, and is not configurable through cluster properties as of now. We are going preview with this feature through initialization actions.
