Create a Microsoft Lists custom calendar

Start the new year with a Microsoft Lists custom calendar!

How to:

1) Download the Excel file available here

2) Create a new list from Excel and upload the file you've got in the previous step

3) Follow the wizard process to create a new list. Customize the Excel table by assigning the following List column types:

Title It's the default Title column

4) COLOR CHOICES: Apply the color options to the choice columns listed below. These color options will let you choose a color for any new event you want to add into your "calendar".

For each "EventColor_N" column,
you can copy the list of colors above ☝️
and quick paste them as shown in the image.

5) OPTIONAL STEP - TIME CHOICES: Apply the time options to the choice columns listed below. These options will let you select a start and end time for any new event you want to add into your "calendar". Enable the checkmark to let users fill custom values (e.g. 14:15) You can copy the list of times below and quick paste them as you did in the previous step.

6) Create a new Gallery view with name 2022

7) Open the list settings (gear icon in the top right corner), go to the Views section and then select the Gallery view to apply this change:

8) Copy the JSON code available here

9) Format the gallery view that you've just created and paste the JSON code into the view formatting box (Advanced formatting mode)

10) Go back to the Gallery and use the filter (funnel icon in the top right corner) to create a view for each month selected in the filter pane. After that, you'll be able to select a specific month from the dropdown menù:
