EESSI sync meeting on software testing (2023-02-09)

Sam's PR for GROMACS should be reviewed/tested by others

which ReFrame version is required?
- min. req for features is ReFrame v3.11
GPU count is currently hardcoded in site_configuration
- should be made configurable (in follow-up PR)
- can we make it auto-detect # GPUs?
- ReFrame can auto-detect core count
we should (eventually) provide a config file for localhost
- 1 GPU, auto-detect cores
do we need more functionality in ReFrame?
- auto-detect of GPUs? (ask Vasileios)
